The Misguided Obstinate's blind support of a lying, deceiving vengeful, self-serving and criminally-indicted politician, who openly
utters his seditious, FASCIO-TYRANNICAL intensions, confirms their obstinate mindset.
A large number of individuals are
IN PRISON now because they blindly followed the WANNABE BOSS's suggestion that they take over the U.S.
Capitol and overturn the 2020 elections. More will be imprisoned!
Sadly, after deceiving them and distroying their lives, the self-serving WANNABE BOSS quickly abandoned those
Misguided Obstinate who violated the law at his behest and are now IMPRISONED CRIMINALS!
The Misguided Obstinate will not bother to listen to what is obviously true — even when it's in their best interest!
These individuals listen only to those who appeal to their prejudices and/or self-interest, NOT to anyone who opposes
their misguided views!
Not personally having experienced the scourge of tyranny, their prejudices and sense of racial supremacy
have deluded them into thinking that FASCISM will solve their problems.
The fact that other ethnic groups enjoy the same freedoms and economic benefits that democracy offers
everyone, arouses their bellicose instincts.
Thankfully, not every Republican supports those "who think" they would prefer to live under a FASCIST
form of government.
Although their "Conservative" beliefs are opposed to democratic points of view, when our democracy is in
peril, they do "the right thing!
Like all of us, they have families that need to be fed, clothed and sheltered as well as medical expenses.
But, despite their fears and finacial insecurities, "Patriotic Conservatives" know that democracy is the form of
government they prefer to live under.
With rare exceptions, human beings generally have a self-preserving, "What's-in-it-for-me?"
attitude — Republicans are no different.
Consequently, in times of economic "turmoil" or when Republicans find it in their interest, they are willing to
listen to reasonable voices and even vote for Democrats.
Indisputable, Historical Examples:
- From 1921 to 1932, Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover were presidents of the U.S.; from 2001 to
2008, George W. Bush was president. All were Republicans.
- As a consequence of these Republicans' misguided, pro-wealthy policies, we had the 1929 Depression
and the 2008 Recession.
- Because of these catastrophic events, a great majority of Americans elected Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932 and
Barack Obama in 2009 — both Democrats!
- Because of these Democrats' policies, the U.S. economy was able to recover and millions of new jobs were
created in America. Corporations and the world at large benefitted as well.
These days, the way to reach most Conservative Republicans is by offering them solutions that will appeal to their
"What's-in-it-for-me" and my family attitude.
