The Perennial Travesty
On Friday, March 1, 2024, —
once again — the U.S. Senate
temporarily avoided another U.S.
Government shutdown through March 22, 2024!
Luckily, on March 22, 2024, at the 11th hour, the U.S. Congress managed to assuage our fears by ending the
unnecessary
political stalemate. Those who feared the worst are relieved —
until next year!
Every year, in order to advance their self-serving political agendas or to please their political benefactors, certain U.S. politicians
make a TRAVESTY out of the federal budget process — rendering the following agencies unable to:
- fund our military and our allies — which protect our national security
- fund those who protect U.S. borders, airports, etc.
- fund Social Security and Medicare
- fund FEMA and NASA
- fund medical research, etc.
It is monumentally absurd that, for whatever reason — just because he or she can
— a single individual, should have the absolute power to shut down the U.S. Government, endanger our economy
and instill fear in, and jeopardize the livelihoods of, millions of American families!
To simply call it what it is, this perennial stunt is nothing short of self-serving, irresponsible grand-standing
and a total disregard for the well-being of American taxpayers and their families!
Nonetheless, putting an end to this thoughtless, harmful, perennial madness and threat is not too difficult. In fact, the solution
is quite simple: The Automatic Continuing Budget Resolution!

- Auto-activates when politicians can’t agree on budget.
- Government Shutdown's will be impossible.
- Economic strength and stability can't be threatened by a few.
- Stops the flagrant abuse of power
- Saves billion$ spent to "reopen" the government
